Where did we leave off again?

We stopped at Exodus 35:22 .

We went quite deeply into the final wording of that verse. The Authorized King James Version has the striking phrase “and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD” , while in the Hebrew we found:

כָּל־מֵנִיף תְּנוּפַת זָהָב לַיהוָה
kol menif tenufat zahav la-JHWH

We’re a very powerful organization. There are lots of us and... we’re powerful and... We read the Bible & we kick asses. Welcome!

Actually, no: “Two witnesses” are needed to establish the truth. That’s why I read the Bible. When I read, one witness is already there — the Word. And if I belong to God, the other is also there — the Spirit, because God is not separate from His Word.

Of course, I do not mean that everything I write here is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth simply because I read the Bible and belong to God. I am writing this to tell you where I stand.
